About Burt Broadcasting

Burt Broadcasting, Inc. is owned and operated by Bill and Donnie Burt of Alamogordo. Bill is Journalism and Mass Communications graduate from New Mexico State University. He has been in broadcasting for over 30 years. BBI began in 1988 with the purchase of KYEE-FM. In 2001, BBi purchased KZZX-FM and KINN-AM. KQEL-FM was added in 2006.

Recognition

BBI has won several awards from the New Mexico Broadcasters Association, including “Broadcaster of the Year” in 2006 and “Station of the Year” for KYEE in 2008. The community recently voted KYEE #1, KQEL #2 and KZZX #3 most popular stations in the Market.
